Mari Suzuki (Diabetic Neuropathy Project) won the Young Investigator Award of Japanese Society of Pathophysiology
Dr. Mari Suzuki of Diabetic Neuropathy Project had won the Young Investigator Award of Japanese Society of Pathophysiology during the 26th Annual meeting held at Kanazawa Medical University from August 5th to 6th, 2016. Her presentation entitled “Glucocerebrosidase deficiency accelerates the accumulation of proteinase K-resistant α-synuclein and aggravates neurodegeneration in a Drosophila model of Parkinson's disease” was given a high evaluation by the Review Committee of the Society, and unanimously approved as the best presentation among all the nominations.
