Kumamushi genome
クマムシの一種であるチョウメイムシの全ゲノムを解読し、後生動物におけるトレハロース合成経路の平行進化を明らかにしました。東京大学との共同研究です。 We sequenced the whole genome of a trehalose-producing tardigrade, Paramacrobiotus richtersi, and uncovered parallel evolution of trehalose biosynthesis in metazoans, in collaboration with the university of Tokyo.
