Sasanuma and Yamada attended the DDR meeting in Ehime. The meeting featured presentations on a wide range of research, from molecular mechanisms of DNA repair to tumor immunity, and lively discussions.

Project Leader Hiroyuki Sasanuma appeared on the NHK TV program “あしたが変わるトリセツショー”. Using live cell imaging, he demonstrated that acetaldehyde, a metabolite of alcohol, causes DNA damage. Thanks to everyone in our laboratory for their cooperation.
